RALLO BENNETT RELEASES HAUNTING NEW SINGLE “EGGSHELLS & ROLLERCOASTERS” WITH MUSIC VIDEO
Fresh off a wave of artistic momentum, alt-pop singer-songwriter Rallo Bennett is set to release her latest single, “Eggshells & Rollercoasters,” on July 14. The new track, a delicate yet powerful meditation on the fragility of love and the highs and lows of human connection, will be accompanied by a cinematic music video exploring the song’s themes of intimacy, tension, and resilience.
Fans will also have the opportunity to experience Rallo Bennett’s magnetic live energy at two upcoming shows in the Hudson Valley. On July 17, she will perform at Rock da Casbah in Saugerties from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, and on July 23, she will take the stage at Pearl Moon in Woodstock from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Seating is limited for both events, so early reservations are encouraged by calling 845-247-3929 for Rock da Casbah and 845-684-5537 for Pearl Moon.
"Eggshells & Rollercoasters” finds Rallo Bennett at her most evocative yet, layering poetic lyrics over lush, dynamic production that echoes with a sense of vulnerability. Hypnotic melodies carry the listener through a landscape of emotional contradictions: fragility and strength, joy and doubt, chaos and calm. “I wanted to do something enchanting and honest, yet humorous, to meditate on the many rollercoasters & eggshells that life seems to be paved with,” says RALLO. “This song just kinda rolled out very organically from that initial spark.”
“Eggshells & Rollercoasters” features lead vocals by Rallo Bennett harmonies by Rallo Bennett and Kevin Spencer Kendrick, guitar, vibraphone, and keyboard by Kevin Spencer Kendrick, bass by Graham Orbe, drums by Liam Kerekes, lyrics, composition, and arrangement by Alyssa Rallo Bennett and Kevin Spencer Kendrick, and was engineered, mixed, and mastered by Stephen Kellner in The Burn Room.
With striking vocals, cinematic storytelling, and genre-blurring sound, Rallo Bennett continues to carve out a space all her own—“Eggshells & Rollercoasters” is her most poignant offering yet.
RALLO BENNETT ANNOUNCES NAME UPDATE WITH INTIMATE SINGLE & MUSIC VIDEO
‘LONELY WITH YOU’
New York, NY — Rallo Bennett (formerly known as RALLO) ushers in a new chapter with the release of her vulnerable and playfully upbeat new single “Lonely With You,” arriving December 5 alongside a cinematic music video filmed on location at The Vessel in Hudson Yards. The release marks the artist’s official transition to performing with two parts of her name rather than one, and the next chapter following her debut album, Anymore, into her upcoming 2nd album named after her recent single “Eggshells & Rollercoasters.”
To celebrate the release, Rallo Bennett will perform a full band release show on December 8 at Berlin Under A. Tickets and information are available here: berlin.nyc/tm-event/rallo/
Blending singer-songwriter intimacy with warm indie-rock textures, “Lonely with You” explores the tension between connection and emotional distance — what it means to love someone deeply while still feeling unseen. While the song sits in the ache of emotional distance, its delivery is undeniably playful—full of sly humor, melodic winks, and a lightness that keeps the heartbreak buoyant. Over soft, breathing instrumentation, her lyrics navigate misfires, mixed signals, and the ache of longing: “I... wonder why... I can’t talk to you... I wonder why I’m lonely with you.”
The accompanying music video, directed by Rallo Bennett, follows a series of couples moving through The Vessel’s iconic architecture, mirroring the song’s themes of closeness and isolation. Shot with an ensemble of actors, friends, and collaborators, the film weaves a portrait of relationships in motion—intimate, imperfect, and deeply human. “As a filmmaker who found my way back to music, it was such a joy to direct the music video for this song. ‘Lonely with You’ blends some searing, heartfelt storytelling with joy and an indie-rock wink, and getting to bring that to life on camera with actors, colleagues, and friends who were a dream to direct made the whole experience feel full-circle,” says Rallo Bennett.
“Lonely with You” was written, composed, and arranged by Alyssa Rallo Bennett and Kevin Spencer Kendrick, with vocals by Rallo Bennett. Instrumentation includes guitar and keyboard by Kevin Spencer Kendrick, bass by Graham Orbe, and drums by Liam Kerekes. “The fluid, diverse indie rock storytelling of Pinch That Vein feels like a movie you want to watch” - American Pancake
"Featuring crunchy guitars and driving drums, Rallo Bennett’s vocals remind me of Nina Gordon from Veruca Salt; they are fairly clean but have just enough punk sneer. With lyrics about overcoming a daily routine to push to be creative, the song feels like a perfect pandemic anthem." - Surviving The Golden Age
"Rallo Bennett swims in a foamy sea of electric guitars that ring out as a rally to push her onward through the terrain. "Call me petty / Call me small / Call me... ugly / I’ve heard them all,” she sings, getting the blistered feelings out of the way right from the start. “Not gonna judge it / I’m gonna love it.” She turns her mental state over, where the misery seems to course and swell in her veins, and lets it all ooze from her body. “I’m gonna take it / Not going to fake it,” she resolves. She allows herself to feel whatever she’s feeling – as draining as it all might be – and through such an act, she can find herself again. “Turning [an] experience on its head [with] humor [and] ownership, can be a relief from effects. The lyrics kind of poured out, and the chords I was hearing in my head followed." - B-Sides & Badlands
