LITTLE OLD COUNTRY PUB
Paul Hudnott
Paul Hudnott is an Australian country artist celebrating the release of his debut album New Life on the Land, a deeply personal project marking the fulfilment of a lifelong dream. The album features seven original songs and was recorded at Apollo 10 Studio, produced by Mark Donohoe (Magnificent 7, The Frames), with contributions from acclaimed musicians Chris Murphy and Ian Simpson, renowned for his work with Slim Dusty.
Born in England and raised in Australia from the age of two and a half, Paul proudly calls himself Australian, drawing inspiration from the land, its people, and the stories that shape rural life. After playing in a band during his youth, he stepped away from music before rediscovering songwriting later in life.
Paul’s journey has taken him from farming and running his own trucking business to working behind the scenes setting up stages for concerts and festivals—never imagining he would one day step into the spotlight himself.
His songwriting reflects authenticity and heart, capturing the spirit of everyday Australians. A standout track, “Little Old Country Pub,” celebrates the role these iconic venues play in bringing communities together, especially in times of hardship.
